The Fratellis' first big release, 'Henrietta', is glam rock at its most cheeky. It charted in the Top 20 in the UK, faring even better in the band's native Scotland where it soared to an impressive Number Six. It was also available in impressive chocolate coloured vinyl, as a limited edition.
The band's debut single and first hit brings to mind the legendary glam bands of the 1970s, with a particular doff of the cap to Marc Bolan and T-Rex. Released only a few short months after their first pop-punk driven EP, it showed the first signs that the band could adapt to a variety of new/old rock sounds something which would become more evident on their later releases.
