Annie/M.I.A producer Richard X remixes and reworks Saint Etienne's debut album Foxbase Alpha and turns it into a whole new aural experience, Foxbase Beta, featuring the reinterpreted singles 'Kiss And Make Up', 'Carnt Sleep' and 'Nothing Can Stop Us'.

Adding his own slick, cosmic sheen, while respecting the spirit of the original recordings, Richard X enlisted vocalist Sarah Cracknell to re-record some of the vocals that had become distorted since the time of the original recording back in 1991.

Bob Stanley says: "It is essentially a 2009 up-date of Foxbase Alpha, given a shot of vodka and a loving caress."

This edition features the rather splendid Richard X remixes of all original 13 album tracks from '90s classic Foxbase Alpha.
