The fifth and final LP by The Police - Synchronicity was the album that sent the band truly stratospheric. Released in 1983, it features the singles "King Of Pain", the Grammy awards winning "Synchronicity II" and "Wrapped Around Your Finger", but it is the No.1 hit "Every Breath You Take" which is the cornerstone of the album, winning both the Best Pop Performance and Best Song Grammys that year.
According to Rolling Stone’s review, “Synchronicity is a work of dazzling surfaces and glacial shadows,” and remains the band’s most popular selling album.
