Romance Is Boring is the third album from the indie-pop seven piece, recorded in Seattle, Connecticut and Wales - the country where the collective formed. The album was produced by John Goodmanson, who had previously produced for Blondie, Soundgarden and Pavement, and features guest collaborations.
Los Campesinos! met at Cardiff University in 2006. Despite the band forming in Wales, none of its members are of Welsh origin. The seven-piece released their debut album, Hold on Now, Youngster..., in February 2008 and followed up by releasing a record titled We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed, in October in 2008.
