Marilyn Manson's Holy Wood is the third in a series of concept albums. Musically diverse, referencing everything from the Beatles to the Dead Kennedys, here he charts the journey of Adam Kadmon in a revolution against Holy Wood, populated by the rich and famous. This is the international version, free from explicit content.

Holed up for three months after the Columbine massacre, for which Marilyn Manson had become a media scapegoat, he nevertheless picked up on the achievements of his previous two albums to create an album that is just as controversial, but also both aggressive and tuneful... and possibly one that captures him at his best. Its companion piece novel written between 1999 and 2000 remains unpublished.
