The second cut from Boyzone's reunion album, Back Again...No Matter What, 'Better' hit stores in December 2008. It was to be the band's last release prior to the untimely death of Stephen Gately the following year.

Boyzone won praise and broke new ground with their video for 'Better' by featuring the first gay couple to be shown in a boyband promo. While the rest of the band were paired with girls in the black and white film, Stephen Gately was shown with another man.

Stephen said at the time: "For me, it's just me being me and I don't think there should be a real big issue about the whole thing anyway. I just think it's a beautiful video and I think it works superbly for the song. I'm hoping this video will have a good, positive, all-round reaction."
