The Brian May Signature Guitar ... inspired by Brian May's legendary 'Red Special', an instrument that has achieved iconic status a unique place in rock history, and designed in conjunction with Brian May himself. In fact it delivers everything you'd expect from an instrument built to the exacting standards of one of the world's greatest guitarists but, in keeping with Brian's vision of a "guitar for the people", with an amazingly affordable price-tag that belies its superior appointments and performance.
Without question one of the most eagerly anticipated instruments of the century , the Brian May Signature was originally launched in winter 2001 to rapturous critical and public acclaim. Guitarist magazine hailed it as "Best Guitar of the Year" and theatre audiences around the globe thrilled to the guitar's sound in performance in the Queen musical "We Will Rock You".
But the story certainly didn't end there. Working once again with Brian and his long- standing guitar technician Pete Malandrone, House Music has significantly improved upon the guitar's overall constrution as well as refining the bridge assembly, electronics, finishing and colour choices. Simply put, the world's best artist designed guitar has just got a whole lot better.

Delivery of high value items
As part of our ongoing commitment to offer our customers the highest level of online payment security possible and to ensure the safe and timely arrival of your goods,
some high value items (such as Beats by Dr. Dre™ Headphones or limited edition music and merchandise) can only be delivered to the billing address associated with your payment card.
Where products are considered to be high value items, it will be clearly indicated on each product page that they are only available for delivery to your billing address. Additionally, these products will be shipped via recorded delivery and will require the card-holder's signature to confirm receipt of goods.
Should you mistakenly place an order for a high value item and specify any address other than the billing address, that order will be automatically cancelled and you will be notified by email within 24 hours. Should this happen, please place another order and be sure that the delivery address is consistent with the billing address as it appears on your debit/credit card statement.
Delivery costs and methods
The costs for shipment is based on weight, so will vary from product to product. The total cost including shipping costs will be displayed at the bottom of the Options and Payment page in the checkout process, so you will always know how much you are going to be charged before placing your order.
We offer a number of different shipping options for our customers:
- UK Standard
- UK Express
- Europe Standard
- Europe Express
- Rest of World Standard
- Rest of World Express
All Express services are traceable and your tracking number is displayed in your confirmation email. Standard delivery options do not have a tracking number and we recommend selecting Express for any high-value items.
Changing your delivery address
If you have placed an order and need to change the delivery address, please contact customer services on support@universal-music.co.uk for assistance. Alternatively, call us on 0845 070 2036, Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm. Please note: this service is not available for High Value Items as these can only be delivered to the card-holder's billing address.
Returning an item
We are happy to refund any unwanted items you have ordered, provided they are returned within 30 days of dispatch and are in mint condition, including unbroken (still sealed) cellophane wrapping where applicable. To return any unwanted items, please follow these instructions:
