"‘Hands Open’ was the second single to be released in the US from the band’s Eyes Open album back in 2006, later climbing to Number 21 in the Modern Rock Tracks chart. This version features the Freelance Hellraiser Remix. "

The ‘Hands Open’ video, sees Gary Lightbody busting his way through walls and scenes that turn out to be made of paper. It was directed by Patrick Daughters who’s also the man behind promos for the likes of Mika, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Depeche Mode.
