Marilyn Manson's The High End of Low harks back to the sound of the Mechanical Animals album. It features the single, 'Armageddon' and was recorded in Manson's Hollywood Hills Studio, and produced by the man himself along with keyboardist Chris Vrenna, and previous collaborator, Twiggy.
Post Dita Von Teese, The High End of Low sees Marilyn Manson in uncharacteristically sensitive mode - offering a brand new dimension to the artist. Manson reveals, "I learned the difference between love and dependence, and the difference between weakness and desire. And it made a big difference in my life... It really defines the record, which is about falling from grace and trying to fit in and be accepted as a mortal or as a normal person when people don't see you as that."
