Despite constant DJ bookings and a high volume of remix and production work for artists such as Dizzee Rascal, Snoop Dogg, Jay Z and Rihanna, in the last 24 months Chase & Status have managed to mastermind their debut album, complete two live tours around the UK and Europe, sign a major record deal with Mercury Records and take their phenomenal LIVE show to huge festivals around the UK and Europe two summers in a row.
Their debut album More Than Alot, released in 2008 on Ram Records, was packed with drum & bass anthems and exciting guest vocalists including Plan B and Kano, that attracted the ear, not just of all within the scene, but those beyond it too.
Their first release for Mercury, a single entitled 'End Credits' featuring Plan B - written for the film Harry Brown starring Michael Caine, charted at Number 9 in the Official UK Top 40. 'Let You Go' featuring Mali, the first single to be taken from their new album, reached number 11 in the Official UK singles chart and they are currently finishing off their second studio album due out next year.
