This is the best album of 2009, no doubt! Choose either of both CD's, pop it into your CD Player, and get ready to Just Dance!!! There are so many things that are amazing about this CD, but let me start with the most simple and obvious one: It's a double CD, yet you get it at the price as if it were just one CD! If you are 100% obsessed with Gaga (like me!), then you just can't leave the house without your copy of this fantastic mood-booster. If you're feeling down, just listen to any one of the tracks you can find on this CD, and your troubles will be forgotten before you know it. Some say, this CD isn't an "official" Gaga CD, as only 8 of the tracks are new. This can be looked at in more than one way; Yes, this isn't an official Lady Gaga CD because you can't really call an 8 track CD a new album. Or; No, that's not true. It IS an official Lady Gaga album, because it's still her creation of new songs on a single disc, it just has less songs. Either way you look at this, 'The Fame Monster' is still an amazing double-disc album, that will blow you away! Don't hesitate. go buy your copy of it now!

This is one of the most amazing cds of all time! Lady Gaga has become absolutly massive in no time at all! This albums has gone diamond for a reason! There is an amzing collection of songs that u can listne to over and over! The singles Just Dance, Pokerface, Paparazi and Bad Romance are all there along with other amazing songs! Tihis album has an amazing sound with a slight gothic twist shoe by some of Gaga's wierd lyrics and the crucible in the title on the cover. Monster (He ate my heart...), Dance In the Dark (Silicone, saline, poison, inject me...) and Teeth (Take a bite of my bad-girl meat...) and of course one of the first proper lines in Bad Romance 'I want ur ugly, I was your disease'.Lady Gaga's song have great catchy lyrics which will make you listen to this album over and over from the 'ra ra ahaha' of bad romance to the 'p-p-p-pokerface' and the 'just dance, it'll be okay, da da da do'.Overall this album is absolutly amazing! i culd listen to it over and over and its a must have for anyone!

this album is one of the best i have ever heard. The catchy lyrics and monsterous beats are perfect for a party, but when im at home alone i just turn up Gaga and dance with no care in the world and the fact that you also get the fame album as well is just great, so you can listen to all of them over over and over again never getting bored(well i never do). On the fame monster there could have been more tracks but that is only a small con. Overall it is amazing, i prefer to buy the atual CD then to buy it over the internet because music files get deleted most of the time when your memorey becomes full but having the CD you can keep it forever and pass it down so eveyone can hear the music that changed your life, making sure that its never deleted.

On the first glance of "The Fame Monster" it looks a little plain and dull, unlike other CD's of Pop. Gaga herself looks very gothic, staring at you with her vulnerable yet piercing eyes as she hides behind a big PVC outfit with big shoulder pads along with a blonde triangular hairstyle. However, listening to the album and looking through the simple yet artistic booklet of lyrics, it show that "The Fame Monster" is a masterpiece. Listening to the 8 brand new songs should be enough to see how much blood, sweat and tears Gaga put into this work of art. Each single is each a beautiful hit in itself, each as catchy and funky as the rest. However, reading into the lyrics and realizing the hidden messages of "monsters" with each song really makes you appreciate the amount of thought Gaga put into this to appeal to her fans.
I personally feel that "The Fame Monster" is amazing and I love it so much that I listen to it everyday. It has become a major part of my life and I feel with Gaga's mesmerizing voice in my head everyday, I can really be myself.
It is truly inspiring.
It is defiantly a must buy for anyone and everyone. Not just for the 8 new tracks accompanied by the original album "The Fame" but for the fact that you can learn so much from each individual song, each fear and how to over come them all to become your own person in this world.

Since the release of The Fame and its re-release/stand alone follow up The Fame Monster, it's been hard to avoid the name Lady Gaga, and for any true fan of music and artistry, that couldn't possibly be a bad thing.

Blending pop music with performance art in a way that suggests David Bowie and Madonna had a child, with Marilyn Manson as the rebellious older brother and Prince the slightly creepy uncle, Gaga guarantees to always put on a show. What makes these artists unique among their peers is their ability to back themselves up with killer songs, and The Fame Monster is full of them.

The collection of eight songs makes up in impact what some may say it lacks in length. Opening with ear-infesting, chart-busting, anthem-for-misfit-love Bad Romance and continuing with Euro-pop flavoured future hit Alejandro, you already have more hooks than you can shake a stick at, but it doesn't end there, as a darker sounding Gaga gives way to should-be-cheesy-but-totally-works 80's style synth drums in Monster, and another huge chorus.

Apparently the only Lady Gaga recording to date to feature only fully live instruments, Speechless shows an interesting side to an otherwise synth-led affair. The vocal and piano performance does justice to perhaps her strongest lyrics yet, and these elements together with guitar parts that wouldn't be out of place on a Queen record (this may be the track that shows off her Queen and Bowie influences the best), make the track a strong and emotional highlight.

Dance in the Dark follows, and marks the return of the synthesizers, which this time around sound harsh, as if they'd just jumped out of a Nine Inch Nails album. Thematically this song sums up a lot of The Fame Monster, and possibly Gaga's most important message; "find your freedom in the music." Meanwhile, Britney is no doubt kicking herself for turning down Telephone, which has found on a home on The Fame Monster, with Beyonce lending a verse for good measure. The track welcomes more interesting experimentation with instruments and clever stuttering vocal trickery that will stick to the inside of your head for days, weeks, months, maybe forever.

The pace slows again for So Happy I Could Die, a largely underrated song that doesn't seem as easily accessible as the other tracks, but given time will soon reveal its beauty as a sparse and minimalist tune that winds down well after the intensity of the previous songs, and paves the way for even more of a departure on the closing track Teeth. Here we are treated to tribal drums, a horn section and a haunting but incredibly cool spoken backing that evokes Marilyn Manson's 'Doppelherz' film in its tone and delivery.

The Fame Monster offers a varied selection of songs that displays promising experimentation that will no doubt be explored further on her next full length effort. For now, though, this record is more than enough to keep fans occupied, with its concise delivery not allowing a second of filler.

Sheer auditory artwork. Gaga writes simplistically, but each word counts-- she paints pictures of her fears, and keeps the party going the whole time. She consistently reinvents herself, and is not afraid of tearing things down and starting from scratch. I might have liked this album a little more if it were longer (every time I listen, I'm not ready for it to end), but that is my one and only complaint. Buy it. Cherish it. Feel it.

The best album i have ever bought... in fact i felt compelled to buy three copies!!!!!! Every single song, both on The Fame and The Fame Monster, is catchy and a potential number one hit. Just Dance, Poker Face, Bad Romance and Telephone have all already hit the top spot, proving my point. The only problem I have is that the UK version does not feature Retro Dance Freak, as the US version does. Apart from that, absolutely fantastico!!!

When I first heard the energetic beats of 'just dance' in the summer of 2008, my admiration for music and musicians skyrocketed to astronomical heights. Before then, I had tired of the constant drone of corporate music and the same old tracks rewritten time after time.
But then, 'Just dance' came, followed by- you guessed it! 'Poker Face'. As soon as I heard it I rushed down to the nearest music store and bought 'The Fame'.Every track has its own theme, genre and aesthetic and generates feelings of ecstasy, (poker face), love,(brown eyes) abd tradgedy, (paper gangsta).
Then, as I searched for more 'Gaga-theque' tracks, I came across 'bad romance'. As if by dejavu, I again headed once more to the music store and purchased 'The fame monster'. And, once again, I was dumbstruck with satisfaction. How are the two tracks so different, yet retain that sense of consistency that the music world has not seen since- possibly the Human League in the 80s?

The best musician in years! What the music biz has needed- a sharp, powerful injection of electro- drama to clear away the years of impotent corporate music.
Get the album- Now! All hail the queen of music's reinvention!

This CD is amazing, it has a sense of art and love for music and is so easy to get lost in because it is so captivating! It's originality is beyond compare, it is just amazing because something like this has never been done before! There is a song for everyone on this CD and for every mood and time!

This is what music should be; captivating, amazing, enchanting, relatable, and of course original, and unlike many CD's this CD is and so is the music and the marvellous artist Lady Gaga!

I love this album!

Got it at Christmas after I fell in love with Gaga and started screeching her down the house walls.

It's got a great electro-pop feel in both albums and is amazing if you haven't got 'The Fame' yet and it still a great price for both even if you have got it!

I love the lyrics and the general feel to all the tracks; theres variety and deeper meanings withing.

I absloutely loved 'The Fame Monster', especially the double lyrics booklet. I listen to Lady Gaga all the time and I was blown away by the quality of this album. My fav track has to be Monster becuase it emphasises the idea being put forwards in this album, and the lyrics are amazing. Overrall, I would give 'The Fame Monster' a 20 out of 10!!!

The best CD I've ever listened to. I listen to it non stop, I can't get enough of it. Its pure genius. I absolutely adore Lady Gaga, the best voice and sound thats ever gone into my ears, and this album gives me more of a reason to adore her. I listen to it whenever I get the chance, in the car, on the bus, at home, at a party, at college. My friends and I are always singing songs from it at the top of our voice anywhere at any time, we totally embarrass ourselves but its all good! Lady Gaga is GOD. And this album proves it. "The Fame Monster" is one of the best albums I have ever heard. As Lady Gaga is so individual, her lyrics speak to the listener in a way that no other artist can. She writes all of her lyrics, and becaues of this, when you listen to her songs you can feel her personality shine through then, and you know that she's singing from the heart. The album has both meaningful ballads, and up-tempo songs, perfect for any occasion. "Speechless" is my favourite song on the album; I think it's a beautiful song full of meaning and passion. I love all of the songs on the first CD, especially "Dance in the Dark" as they are perfect for disco and to sing and dance! The second CD is fab too, especially as it has all the recognisable songs like "Just Dance" and "Pokerface", along with the amazing "Brown Eyes". On her Monster Ball Tour 2010, the emotion and passion she put into her performance was incredible - I can't wait to see her again in May. This album could not be any better, and I hope Lady Gaga stays around forever.

The other day in my Higher English class we were reading Kafka's "Metamorphosis". My teacher, a big fan of "lateral thinking" as he calls it, made his most outrageous claim yet. I don't know how he did it, but he managed to compare the video for "Telephone" - which at this point had been out a week and caused much a stir - to the famous novella. And I quote: "Lady Gaga was dancing with other female inmates in their underwear. And I sat there and thought... yes. I buy this. I can believe this. The same goes for this novella."

Thus is the power of Lady GG's latest triumph. "Telephone" and it's outrageously fabulous is SO good that it is deemed appropriate to be discussed in a serious English classroom - so good that it can be compared to one of the most influential works of the 20th century, however laterally.

The rest of the album is much the same. As a young voluntary radio presenter, very few of my shows go by without something from "The Fame Monster" blaring down the wire. If I don't play something, I get moaned at the next day at school. It's THAT good.

My art classroom is the same. I've discovered I can't work without singing along to "Bad Romance" or "Alejandro" on my iPod. The perfect craftmanship of the lyrics makes the brush move a little faster, a little better.

There is only one thing that could be better about "The Fame Monster", in my humble opinion. More songs; more Gaga. But there's an easy solution to how short the album is. Repeat.

A bought the fame monster immediately after seeing lady gaga performing her smash hit tour "the monsters ball" in glasgow..she was phenomenol.THE FAME MONSTER is exactly that filled with great music and lyrics by lady gaga, the album includes such songs as "bad romance" and "telephone" with beyonce the tracks are filled with great pop music "alejandro" probably my favourite shows what a catchy song it is and "dance in the dark" provides us with brilliant electro music. also another notable song is "speechless" which shows the more emotional and personal insight to lady gaga. I listen to this album constantly, like literally all the time, it's on my iPod, I take it to parties, I dance around my room with it on, I force my mam to listen to it in the car. The best part is it's two albums in one. Unfortunately, that's also one of the downsides. If you've already bought The Fame in the past then you are going to have to buy it again! There is no 1-disc edition like in America! Another downside is the fact that it has been censored, sorry, I will correct myself, Disc 1 (The Fame Monster) has been censored, whereas Disc 2 (The Fame) has been left in it's original state! I would like to see an uncensored version, at least on iTunes and where buying The Fame again wasnt a problem for me, some people may find it annoying. But, overall, a fantastic album and only a few words can some it up! RAH RAH AH AH AH RO MA RO MA MA GA GA OH LA LA!!!

Lady Gaga's songs all have brilliantly catchy instrumental backgrounds that make the definition of pop music! Every song has a different feel to it as well as it's own set of totally original lyrics. I always thought that Lady GaGa's music was always worth a listen, when it was on the radio I would not rush to change the station, then as soon as 'Bad Romance' was released,the world of Pop changed forever. With it's ctachy "Ra Ra Raaaaah..." hook i knew the album had high expectations. Boy did it surpass them! Each track has it's own individual meaning, to the price of fame with 'Monster' or the suffaction and peer pressure in 'Telephone', but it is 'Speechless' where GaGa dominates and her genius is truly confirmed. A heartfelt and truly emotional recording, the subject of her father's heart condition results in a mesmerising four and a half minutes is perched to perfection, and as a first,Gaga's vulnerable side is on display for the first time. A personal favourite of mine is 'Dance in the Dark', GaGa's refrences to strong indepent women in the past and a moving tribute to Princess Dianna is absolutly breathtaking. Overall 'The Fame Monster' truly shows GaGa is set for world domination, that she is arguably the most innovative pop songwriter to emerge in recent years and I cannot wait to see her in May, LONG LIVE GAGA!

phwoar!!! Lady Gaga has struck back after releasing The Fame she now has released The Fame Monster which is a lot more Gothy than The Fame which is full of Poppy tunes. Bad Romance, Telephone and Dance in the dark are my top 3 favorites off the albums. Dance in the dark has to be a single its Amazing. I recommend to anyone Young & Old to buy The Fame Monster you wont regret it!! :)

Ever since Lady GaGa hit the Pop scene in 2009 with her fantastic debut single 'Just Dance' who knew that she would make Pop history. 'Poker Face' a world wide phenomenon and a great track became the most downloaded song during 2009 in the UK. Her third single 'Paparazzi' is also another top track from GaGa. Who could forget 'LoveGame'? A great pop song which got stuck into your head instantly. All of these extravagant songs are featured in Lady GaGa's debut album ' The Fame', an album packed full of potential and number one hits.

Lady GaGa yet again shocked the world with her second studio album released towards the end of 2009. 'The Fame Monster' a follow up to 'The Fame' which includes her debut album 'The Fame'and also eight brand new tracks including another world wide hit 'Bad Romance'. 'The Fame Monster' has a great range of new Pop songs. 'Alejandro' a new approach to Pop music with an addictive and engaging beat which has the potential to become a number one hit across the world. 'Monster' is a unique track which attracts your attention and has catchy lyrics. Track four 'Speechless' is an emotional piece of music from GaGa which has a slow beat and outstanding vocals, a track well deserved to be listened to. 'Dance In The Dark' is the fifth song titled on 'The Fame Monster' which is a classic song GaGa has delivered to her fans. An almost five minute track filled with amazing, addictive and astonishing vocals, a truly terrific song to sing along to. The sixth song featured on the album is 'Telephone' which in my opinion, one of the best songs on the album along with 'Bad Romance'. Lady GaGa teamed up with another outstanding performer Beyoncé to create this incredible legendary dance hit. The seventh track 'So Happy I Could Die' is yet again another catchy song. It has a great beat with an R&B rhythm to it. Last but not least 'Teeth'. 'Teeth' is a unique track with a collaboration of different beats with a wide range of vocal tones. Another masterpiece from GaGa.

Overall, I think 'The Fame Monster' is an absoloutely outstanding album from Lady GaGa. It includes a huge amount of amazing Pop songs and potential number one hits. A downside to the album is that there is only eight new songs included on the album, but who cares when they are all beautiful masterpieces. If you are a huge fan of Lady GaGa or someone who just likes a few songs, I advise you to purchase this amazing album.

I rate The Fame Monster 10/10. I cant wait for GaGa's third studio album, I will definately be buying it if it lives up to 'The Fame Monster" expectations!

Lady GaGa is an outstanding performer who in years to come, if not allready, be the new Queen of Pop.

This is just like two awsome albums in one.
I constantly listen to this cd in the car, at work and while getting ready for a night on the town,(just dance is a good one to get you in the mood) Theres somthing on there for everyone. Some beautiful ballads like speachless and brown eyes, And ones to get you up singing and dancing. Youll find that you can relate to alot of them too.
this album was greatly anticipated and met everyones expectaions and more.
This is a must have for you cd collection.

Utterly brilliant and utterly perfect. "Pop" is an underestimation. The Fame goes waaaaay beyond labelling and flirts with the juicier strands of performance art. I find this album thrilling and I cant stop listening to it. I went to see Lady G at the O2 last week and she talked about wanting to inspire young people. I'm OLD and she inspires me too. Gogo Gaga.
