Melody Gardot embraces her jazz sensibilities on the evocative My One And Only Thrill, featuring her critically acclaimed singles 'Baby, I'm A Fool' and 'Who Will Comfort Me', and takes a musical trip to Latin America, incorporating elements of bossa nova and samba.

My One And Only Thrill is more uplifting and whimsical than Worrisome Heart and showcases Melody's smooth vocals and trademark scatting, her love of the French language and culture on 'Les Etoiles' and the sweeping, panoramic orchestral arrangements by the legendary music arranger/composer Vince Mendoza.

A highlight of the album is Melody's fresh, colourful interpretation of 'Over The Rainbow', with its playful, Latin lilt. She says: "I've fallen in love with South American music: Tango, the music of Argentina, the music of Brazil, Stan Getz, Bebel Gilberto. I'm dying to go to Buenos Aires."
