Big, bold, and dramatic. Intimate, tender and touching. A Curious Thing is Amy Macdonald, full-voiced and rebooted and re-energised, with added hammering piano and a couple of guest spots from Paul Weller. A Curious Thing: Special Orchestral Edition features a bonus disc of live orchestral versions of Amy's biggest hits, including versions of 'This Is The Life', 'Mr Rock & Roll' and 'Don't Tell Me That It's Over'.

A gifted Scottish singer-songwriter, Amy Macdonald is that proverbial old head on young shoulders. She started playing acoustic shows at 15 years of age, having taught herself the guitar. Influenced by artists including Travis, The Killers, Pete Doherty, and Bruce Springsteen, she released her self- written debut album This is The Life in 2007 at the tender age of 19.
The release of Amy's much-anticipated second album, A Curious Thing , sees Amy back on the road touring again with brand new material. Tickets for all seven dates of Amy Macdonald's 2010 UK Tour are now available exclusively here.
